Conflict Management Support (CMS) was formed in 1990 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation to promote nonviolent techniques for managing conflict.
Conflict Management Support is dedicated to the promotion of conflict management / conflict resolution skills – by providing support in the areas of education, information exchange, and the appropriate application of technology .
CMS is committed to increasing public awareness of nonviolent alternatives for dealing with and managing conflict. This includes providing support to educators who teach conflict and anger management skills.
CMS is committed to increasing public awareness of people and organizations that provide professional conflict management services.
CMS is committed to promoting the positive perspectives of conflict by demonstrating how cooperative problem solving can lead to win-win outcomes, new insights, and growth.
CMS is committed to the open exchange of new insights for productively managing human differences at all age levels. This includes the application of technology to enhance the exchange of information.
CMS is committed to providing support and assistance to practitioners in the field of conflict management on the use of computer applications and other emerging technology to maximize their productivity and efficiency
CMS is committed to demonstrating how new computer applications can assist practitioners and educators teach nonviolent conflict management skills and reach the greatest number of people.
